This is what I look like at work today:

I'm usually tired on Friday mornings for a couple of reasons: 1) I have to get up early at be at work before 7:00 am and 2) I have EVMCO rehearsal that goes until 10:00pm on Thursday nights. Today, however, I'm pretty much like a zombie. Last night, we had our final rehearsal for Rob Gardner's Lamb of God, which is premiering TONIGHT!!! It was an AWESOME rehearsal, but VERY grueling. The chorus for the show is standing during the duration of the show, which will be about an hour and half, which won't be TOO bad. But last night, we were standing for about 4 hours for the duration of the rehearsal. Holding choir folders...cramped in with 200 other choir members. It was exhausting. Oh! But there is an upside! Brandon (the EVMCO director) told us that we would NOT be required to wear heels!!! Such a relief. I LOVE heels, but I think it would be against my 8th amendment right to wear heels for the duration of the preformance. Seriously. It's kinda grueling!

In other news, Taylor is teething her molars. Which, if you can imagine, results in a very happy baby. And I mean that in the most sarcastic way possible. Poor girl had a fever last night..and earlier in the week, she's been constipated, irritable, and all around just a really happy girl. When I put oragel on her poor gums last night, this was her reaction:

I've given it to her before, but I don't think she liked it much (also, I'm at work, and I don't have any ACTUAL pics of Taylor with that's why I'm having to resort to Google Images...which I love).

Hooray for Fridays! Hooray for Lamb of God.. Seriously, if you don't have tickets yet, you should go get them. It's going to be amazing!

lisa, i love the pics you find! and i love that you are excited to be in the choir with us!! it was incredibly grueling last night, and i am frankly a little nervous about falling off the back of risers!! but what is one person dropping off compared to all the rest of you singing such glorious music? :) it is such a privilege to be performing with these soloists and everyone, it is worth it!! yay!! we just hope we survive!! :)
